Opening set from a man who’s seriously stepped up his livePA game, playing live bass and electronics, and bringing some heavy dub vibes to the dancefloor. Echo pilot is producer/musician Mike Paprocki from Vancouver B.C. An alchemist of various mutations of dub, his original tracks range from psychedelic caribbean breakbeat, to ambient dub experiments, to global flavoured uptempo excursions. Having released tracks on Dubhead Records (UK), Entheogenetic (BC), and recently on Native State Records (US), he also has an EP and a full length album on his own imprint, Ombase Recordings, entitled “Between Channels”.
