Integrated Circus (IC) is a project created to highlight the soul-timbres of the electronic music continuum. IC brings together live, real-time analogue synthesis and re-contextualized recordings of classic electronic compositions.
Integrated Circus consists of samples from a century of academic, experimental and popular electronic vinyl triggered live from a drumkit, along with expert analogue synthesizer programming and an electro-acoustic rhythm section.
Seminal synthesizers such as the Prophet 5, MiniMoog, and the Arp Odyssey are featured, as well as reused clips of recordings by electronic music pioneers like Karlheinz Stockhausen, Bruce Haack and Raymond Scott.
Applying a modern aesthetic and approach to a complex and compelling lineage, Integrated Circus brings 100 years of electronic music to life.
