Mike Shannon has been DJing and producing techno for over half of his life. Born in 1978, Shannon began mixing records at 13, exploring different facets of techno and house. Since then, he has also become a producer, releasing a number of mixes and singles, as well as a critically acclaimed full-length record on Mille-Plateaux in 2002 called Slight of Hand. Recent productions have been in the realm of glitchy minimal techno and house, with a taste for sonic experimentation yet an ear firmly glued to the dancefloor.
