OVERCAST is the live project of Canadian artists/musicians Jamie Drouin and Michael Pettit, whose sound is informed by a wide range of genres, including the structure and rhythms of modern minimal techno, experimental glitch, and the cavernous reverb soaked ambience of dub.

PIXEL_SHIFT is Canadian multimedia artist and filmmaker Cimarron Corpé whose cinematic aesthetic draws from organic, abstract, and reconstructed imagery to create optically rich atmospheres.

For the 2007 edition of the New Forms festival, OVERCAST will create a composition using audio samples discovered within 16mm film archive footage. These elements will be structured into an entirely new narrative with live visuals by PIXEL_SHIFT using the same source material.
