Pink Noise is the name of the second installment of Wendy Atkinson’s bass-only solo project. As Pink Noise, Wendy Atkinson uses live acoustic, electric and double bass, loops, pre-recorded sounds, and various implements used to ‘prepare’ the bass, including string, emery board and cassette tape cases. The sound has been described as spare, hypnotic, ambient and moody. Wendy Atkinson currently has two records out, Trim and Pink Noise.
