Tiina Liimu is a media, visual artist and educator with an interdisciplinary practice which holds no boundaries to a specific medium, rather a blend of digital media, drawing influence from disappearing formats and historical context. Her work negotiates process interchangeably between, material, theoretical practice and life experience. Producing images, projections, paintings, sculpture, installations and time-based formats she holds a Media Arts degree from ECIAD. In addition, studied animation in Vancouver, Theater and Visual Arts in Ontario, Tiina is currently based out on the west coast Canada.
